Due to its wild popularity, the Superhero Name Generator ran out of usable superhero names on December 28, 2004. The last three names assigned were:

• Neville Skooge is...The Constipated Cougar!
• Marissa Tang is...The Flatulent Falcon!
• Alex Rodriguez is...The Mudge!

No matter how many villains they catch, those three superheroes will never get a comic book deal.

We considered rebooting the Superhero Name Generator, but that process would have started assigning identical superhero names to two or more applicants. This would have led to public confusion and trademark infringement lawsuits. Rather than expose ourselves to vicarious liability, we have closed the Superhero Name Generator until further notice.
