April 1, 2008: Woo-hoo! I hit 1,000 MySpace friends today!
Shaking the virtual trees for folks interested in books has been a lot of hard work, but totally worth the effort. Myspace is the dominant social networking site in the world, and it’s gratifying to know these thousand friends will already be in place for me whenever my next book sells.
2011 Update: I checked in today and there were tumbleweeds rolling through my MySpace page. Does anyone even still use this site anymore?!!
