When I’m not here, where am I?

Telling Myths

I am the founder of Mythoversal, a project dedicated to broadening representation in classical tales by amplifying historically marginalized identities and restoring traditions erased by centuries of gatekeeping.

You might find me there updating the resource pages for Becoming Hercules and other mythic stories.

Writing about Writing

I am a Contributing Writer for Indie Author Magazine, a monthly publication to inform, educate, and inspire authors at every stage of their careers.

I also participate in a group blog with fellow middle grade authors at “From the Mixed-Up Files…,” a resource for teachers, librarians, parents, kids, writers, and anyone with a passion for children’s literature.

Chillin’ in the Book Community

As a former Assistant Regional Advisor for the New England regions of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators, I presented workshops on a variety of craft and career development topics and co-directed regional SCBWI conferences.

I also served as president of the groundbreaking Class of 2k7 group of debut authors and mentored a number of follow-up author marketing groups.

These days you might catch me in author communities on Clubhouse, Discord, and other social media outlets.
